Happy 9th Monthday, Charlie!

Well, the votes are in and all of you who voted were correct, the second picture was the one of Charlie's 7th Monthday. We celebrated Charlie's 9th Monthday today, and had some special guests, Grandma Ginnie and Poppers! We had lots of fun as you can see from the picture below.

Another festival, but this time it was for work, really!

As most of you know, after a 4-year hiatus I returned to work. I am a co-teacher in the 2nd grade classroom at St. Helen Catholic School. Georgia and Charlie spend their days with Ms. Cynthia, also Georgia started a new school, so Charlie is lucky to have date days with Grandma K. and Grandma Ginnie. Things are progressing smoothly, and the best part so far was the St. Helen Festival. The festival is to raise money for the school, so the Lang's packed up and headed out for a day of fun! We met up with Grandma and Grandpa K. and some of the Stanislawski's all of whom grew up in the hood and some of them even went to St. Helen!

Poor Tomme, him and Georgia went on this ride at least 10 times!

After a long nostalgic tour of the old neighborhood, Grandma K. promised Georgia a sundae, so here she is sitting at the bar at Leona's eating her sundae. What you can't see is Tomme sitting next to her enjoying his beer!

After we left we walked by our old condo and reminisced about the good old times.

Grandma Stanley

It wouldn't be right if I didn't mention Grandma Stanley. At 97, She was an amazing lady who truly touched everyone's life, she will be greatly missed. I am glad that I got to spend some very peaceful time with her this summer.

We Love you, and Charlie thanks you for such a great middle name!

Happy 7th and 8th Monthday, Charlie!

Our "little guy" is turning into a "big guy"! Charlie is doing so much we can hardly keep track of him. He decided that he was going to grow four teeth, start crawling, standing up, and talking! Time flies when you are having fun.

Sheboygan, WI REALLY is the vacation capital of the world!

Georgia, Charlie, and I took a mini-vacation in mid-July. We were joined by Grandma K., Auntie Ann, Auntie Cathy, Holly, and Holly's friend Kallie. We went to Blue Harbor Resort in Sheboygan, WI and had lots of fun. Well, lots of fun after I saved Auntie Ann from being strangled by our seat belt, reassured Grandma K. that I would not talk to her unless absolutely necessary, was knocked back into my senses when I was "verbally slapped" by Auntie Ann after I tried to pack up and leave, and realized Auntie Cathy is really laid back. Fun times are detailed below...

Festival, anyone?

Ahhh, the Lang's like a good carnival (or festival as we like to call them). Some of the funniest moments from our summer are all thanks to a good ole' festival. We love the "good" food, fun rides, and new friends we always meet!

Well it has been a long time...

We have had an amazing summer and I hope to catch everyone up to speed on what has been going on! We spent most of July going to BBQ's and playing. Georgia and Charlie got to go to a few festivals and have some late nights out. The most important thing we have been trying to do is to get Charlie and Georgia to stay exactly the way they are now, forever! It is not really working, so we have just accepted that they are going to grow up.

Making some artwork for the walls!

4th of July never felt so good, a long day and lots of sugar will make you look like a zombie!
